FAQs

What is the Student eCard program? It is a library program that promotes digital and information literacy skills, directing users to reputable resources for academic success.

How are the cards distributed?  Individual cards are issued to all students of the Bald Knob School District unless they have opted out to receive a card during school preregistration.

Are you a new student that enrolled after pre-registration but you would like to get an eCard?  Ask your school librarian for a library eCard application.

What if library cards are lost?  Students may purchase a replacement card for $1 at any branch of the White County Regional Library System.

Can students check out items from the public library with this eCard?  eCards can be used only for online resources and downloadable materials.  However, this card may be converted to an ALL-ACCESS Card at any branch of the White County Regional Library System provided no other account exists in the student's name or that existing account is in good standing.  A parent or legal guardian must be present and show proof of address with a photo ID to convert his/her child's eCard to an all access card.
