Goff Public Library in Beebe is Now Open!

The Beebe Public Library has a new name and a new facility.  The Beebe City Council recently voted that their library be named the Goff Public Library in recognition of the significant contributions  of  Leroy Goff and his son Clay Goff toward the establishment of the new facility.  Stop by to check out this beautiful new library!  

Grand Opening Event is April 16, 2014

A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 3:30 p.m.  but drop-in visits are welcome any time that day during regular operating hours,  12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Job Opening 

The White County Regional Library System is seeking applicants for branch manager of the Pangburn Public Library.  Position is for 24 hours per week and includes sick, vacation, and retirement benefits. 

Accepting applications through April 23, 2014.  Applications may be submitted via mail, email, fax or in person to the Administration (Pyeatt) Building of the White County Regional Library System.

You can now choose to receive a text message for library notices related to your library account such as when your reserved item is available, your items are due tomorrow, or when items become overdue.  Ask a staff member to add this to your account or you may add this yourself after logging on to your online library account. Go to the online catalog, then "My Account" and Change SMS Options. There you can log on and modify your account to add this text message service.
