Food for Fines Offered November 2015
The White County Regional Library System announces that November 2015 will be a Food for Fines month. This one-time event will be offered at all branches of the White County Regional Library System. Return all overdue items to the circulation desk along with one or more non-perishable food items and all accrued fines on your account will be forgiven. Lost or damaged items must be paid for or brought up to date and are not included in this fine amnesty.

Needs Assessment for Searcy Public Library
The Searcy Public Library is looking ahead and planning for the future growth of library services in a new facility. A formal needs assessment is underway and should be completed by the end of 2015. Results will be posted on our website.
Searcy Public Library Needs a Larger Facility
Great news! On April 14, 2015, the Searcy City Council approved a resolution stating that city property on North Moss Street (home of the old Searcy pool) is to be used for the construction of a new library facility.
Lyda Miller Public Library Expansion and Renovation
Come check out this library's new 1,000 sq. ft. addition and renovations to the existing area! Improvements include a new designated computer area with 6 public access computers, a new and expanded children's area, a community meeting room, and two new restrooms. Congratulations Bald Knob!
Interior Renovations at Bradford Public Library
Come check out the interior renovations that have taken place at the Bradford Public Library! Improvements include a new enlarged children's area, new public computer desks, improved display and arrangement of adult fiction, non-fiction, and movies, and a new Bradford history display.
Text Message Option Available
You can choose to receive a text message for library notices related to your library account such as when your reserved item is available, your items are due tomorrow, or when items become overdue. Ask a staff member to add this to your account or you may add this yourself after logging on to your online library account. Go to the online catalog, then "My Account" and Change SMS Options. There you can log on and modify your account to add this text message service.
